Des Woods

Des specialises in leadership development and has an international reputation in the development of change management methods and team performance. He has designed and implemented strategically aligned change and leadership programmes on a global scale across many market sectors including legal, accounting and consulting professional services and within the retail, telecoms and hi-tech sectors. Des also has specific expertise in the design and use of case based and simulated learning and assessment techniques and pioneered the use of experiential learning techniques in management development and training.

Des was Director of Learning and Organisation Development at Linklaters, a leading global law firm and had spent many years with Ernst & Young, a global accounting and consulting firm, variously as an HR Director and Head of O.D. and Learning for the firm. He has also held senior roles and directorships with a number of large UK retail and Telecom businesses including Sears, Adams Childrenswear and Telewest Plc.

Des has had a long relationship with Harvard Business School and is a senior associate of the Judge Business School at Cambridge University.
